Richard Biggs, Managing Partner at Atlantric, expands the organization’s regional footprint

Seattle, Wash., March 22, 2018 – The Pacific Northwest chapter of British-American Business Connections (BABC-PNW) today announced the appointment Richard Biggs to its regional board of directors, adding valued business consulting expertise to its government leadership and helping expand the organization’s footprint into the Portland business market.

As the managing partner of the international consultancy Atlantric, based in Portland, Ore., Richard brings his expertise as an international business development expert, former CEO, and serial entrepreneur to BABC-PNW.

Richard has held senior positions at many U.S. companies while based in Europe, Asia, and North America over the past 25 years. He has also guided companies’ global development in such sectors as software, manufacturing, technology, and consumer electronics.

In addition to starting six companies of his own in the U.S. and the UK, Richard has mentored Oregon and SW Washington start-ups for many years. He currently serves on the Federally Appointed District Export Council of Oregon and recently joined the Mayor of London’s International Business Program as a mentor.

Richard is one of four business professionals that have joined the BABC-PNW Board of Directors this year. Three additional members who include MariaLuisa “Kikis”Tame of HSBC Bank, Richard Firth of Carnival Corporation, and Matt Hultman of GCI, join BABC-PNW from the Seattle market. Including the newly appointed directors, the full BABC-PNW board is comprised of 15 business professionals, an ex-officio role, and a staff position.
